This is great for notebooks that don’t have a physical CD/DVD-ROM drive or to speed up CD/DVD access and save power. It supports 4 DVD-ROM drives and can be used with CD/DVD images made by much burning software. DAEMON Tools Light is a virtual DVD-ROM emulator that uses a SCSI Miniport driver. To connect to other devices via a local network, or an Internet connection, you can access the iSCSI Interface. You can create disc images and iSCSI targets by clicking the ‘Catalog” icon. It is located next to the “Quick Mount” option. The UI’s bottom section shows you which devices are mounted currently. Daemon Tools Light is only compatible with disc images that you created, and which are based on data you legally own. You will need to purchase a software package if you want to manage images through creating, converting, and editing files.
